Flames engulf mobile homes, vehicle in early morning fire

WOODRIDGE – An early morning fire in Woodridge Sunday destroyed two mobile homes and a car, according to fire officials.

The two-alarm blaze at 1046 Glenwild Road was reported around 3 a.m.

There were no reports of injuries. The cause is unknown and a fire investigator was called to the scene along with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.

Firefighters battling the blaze included those from Woodridge, Rock Hill, Mountainville and Monticello.

The fire rekindled late this morning resulting in firefighters being called back to the scene.
