NEWBURGH – The City of Newburgh becomes the latest city in the Mid-Hudson Valley to offer municipal identification cards.

Cards will be distributed to any city resident with proper proof of residency. The IDs are being issued at the city clerk’s office at City Hall beginning at 9 a.m. today (Tuesday).

The City of Middletown was the first in the region to offer the IDs and Poughkeepsie, Beacon and Kingston followed suit shortly thereafter.
