SAUGERTIES – A Saugerties woman has been arrested after she allegedly stabbed a man in the neck.

Police said their investigation of the 9:35 p.m July 5 incident found a 36-year-old man had been stabbed in the neck with a steak knife during a domestic dispute.

Lisa Carrube, 33, is alleged to have stabbed the man, who was treated at the scene by paramedics for superficial wounds to his neck.

Carrube fled the scene before police arrived. On July 6 she was located by Saugerties Police at 2:35 a.m. when they responded to a call for service for a report of a woman screaming on Jane Street.

When officers attempted to take her into custody, she fought with officers, resisting arrest.

She was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
