CHESTER – The future of the Orange County-owned Camp LaGuardia property in the towns of Chester and Blooming Grove could solidify in the coming months.
County Executive Steven Neuhaus said the local governments involved are continuing to work toward some form of development at the site.
“Both the towns of Chester and Blooming Grove have been working with the county. They have been changing some of their zoning to accommodate more economic development so I think that is going to open some more doors and I think we will have some type of movement in the next few months.”
Neuhaus said the previously mentioned Great Wolf waterpark company is still interested and there are also several other options being explored for economic development at the property.
