KINGSTON – There are many people who don’t get holidays off.  That includes the corrections staff at the Ulster County Jail.

Sheriff Juan Figueroa and Undersheriff Eric Benjamin took an opportunity today to “glove up” and cook for the corrections staff as a way to say ‘thank you’ to those who had to work during the holiday on Thursday.

“Thank you all for your continued commitment to keeping our community safe, even when everyone else gets a day off to spend with friends and family,” said Figueroa.
