LIBERTY – Police in the Village of Liberty arrested a Bethel man following an investigation into a stabbing that occurred in an apartment complex in the village.
Anthony Correa, 26, was charged with felony assault and committed to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
Police were called to the Medley apartments around 11:15 p.m. on June 29 for a report of a slashing and found a female victim with a large laceration on her face. Investigation led to Correa being identified as the assailant. He was located and arrested without incident.
