NEWBURGH – Two men were shot Friday night in the City of Newburgh and police are continuing to investigate the situation. Neither suffered life threatening injuries, investigators said.

Most of the people at the scene were uncooperative, police said.

Officers were alerted to the incident with a Shot Spotter activation at South and Chambers streets.

The Non-Fatal Shooting Task Force, which includes a district attorney investigator and a city detective, is investigating the latest gun violence.
