MIDDLETOWN – Orange Regional Medical Center announces the Lisa Rivera, RN, BSN as Program Manager of the Bone and Joint Center.

In her new role, Rivera is responsible for the clinical management of the Total Joint Replacement, Orthopedic, and Spine surgery programs. Her responsibilities include the development, management and updates to the programs’ clinical steps through all phases of care, patient and caregiver education, and continuous performance enhancement programs.

Rivera has been employed as a Registered Nurse with Orange Regional for 16 years and has been a member of the Total Joint Replacement (TJR) program since 2016. In her previous role as Orthopedic Nurse Navigator in the Bone and Joint Center, Ms. Rivera was instrumental in enhancing the TJR patient education program, preparing TJR patients for surgery and assisting patients through all phases of TJR care.

Rivera played a key role in the successful certification in 2018 of Orange Regional’s TJR program by DNV, a world-leading certification body that helps businesses assure the performance of their organizations, products, people, facilities and supply chains through certification, verification, assessment, and training services.
