HIGHLAND – The day before (June 21) was The Longest Day, our ongoing fundraiser that honors the long days spent by people who are caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. This fundraiser encourages people to set up their own events doing activities they enjoy any time to raise funds and awareness. Many people choose to hold their events the actual Longest Day (the Summer Solstice), but they can be held any time. People can visit alz.org/tld to start their own Longest Day events.

June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising public awareness of Alzheimer’s disease, available resources and how people can get involved to support the cause. Visit alz.org/abam
