TOWN OF KENT – A bear with an apparent toothache visited Dr. Dan Doyle’s office on Route 311 in Kent Monday but when the bruin noticed a bird feeder, he decided to ignore the dental visit and abscond with the nourishment instead.

Dr. Doyle who has been practicing family dentistry for decades, said the “bear showed up at 8 a.m. without an appointment. I was willing to treat him but after staying for two hours to the delight of our regularly appointed patients, the bear stole one of my bird feeders and lumbered off into the woods.”

Dr. Doyle has requested anyone observing a bear carrying a bird feeder to give his office a call.
