Two women arrested in Town of Poughkeepsie burglary

TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – Two City of Poughkeepsie women have been arrested by town police in connection with a burglary investigation.

When a resident returned home to her School Street residence, she found it had been broken into with items missing.

During the ensuing investigation, police identified two suspects, both of whom know the victim.

On June 5, Heather Ditrocchio, 41, was arrested on a felony burglary charge. On June 18, Nicole Tomitz, 32, turned herself in and was also charged with felony burglary.

Tomitz was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. Ditrocchio was released to the supervision of the probation.
