GOSHEN – The Orange County Tourism Office has been converted into a welcome center for both tourism and the county film office and officials joined in cutting the ribbon on the Goshen facility Friday.

County Executive Steven Neuhaus said tourism means economic development.

“More businesses that are flourishing, more hotels are going up,” Neuhaus said. “We have a lot of stuff to be proud of in Orange County. We are beating the curve.”

County Tourism Director Amanda Dana said the new center provides information about all the county’s venues and activities for visitors to enjoy.
