MONTGOMERY – A Montgomery Town Police officer sustained a serious fracture to her leg when the patrol vehicle she was in was t-boned while she was conducting a traffic stop on Route 17K.
Officer Gina Kehoe, who has been on the force for about two years, remains in Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, said Police Investigator Steven Ragni.
The incident, around 9:50 p.m. Saturday, occurred between Berea Road and Coldenham Road.
State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
