Fatal fire in Hyde Park

HYDE PARK – Fire in Hyde Park Monday morning claimed one life, according to authorities.

The blaze broke out at 1185 Route 9G in a 15-foot-by-15-foot cabin at mid-morning. When firefighters extinguished the blaze within minutes, they found a body inside.

The identity of the victim has not been released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
