STONY POINT – A man who allegedly shot and killed his daughter-in-law in Stony Point on September 24, 2012, has been placed on the FBI’s 10 most wanted fugitive list.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Eugene Palmer, who is now 80.

After a local arrest warrant was issued for Palmer in Rockland County and he was charged with murder, a federal arrest warrant was issued on June 10, 2013 after he was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

Palmer, who is an experienced hunter and outdoorsman, was believed to have fled into the state forestlands in the Stony Point area following the killing. He should be considered armed and dangerous, the FBI said.
