WALDEN – A two-alarm fire at 23 Simmons Drive in Walden destroyed a single-family home on Saturday.
The blaze broke out shortly before 1:30 p.m. with firefighters from several area departments called in. The structure was declared a complete loss with heavy damage on the top and bottom floors.
The cause is unknown and under investigation.
Occupants were seen running out the front door of the building. No injuries were reported.
On the scene were firefighters from Pine Bush, Walden, Montgomery, and Coldenham and Crawford Town Police.
