SAUGERTIES – A 35-year-old Saugerties man has been arrested and charged with two counts of menacing after he allegedly pulled a knife on a neighbor.

Saugerties Police were called to 3081 Route 8W at 9:45 p.m. Saturday for a report of a neighbor dispute involving the weapon.

Police said the dispute resulted from one neighbor complaining to the other that their music was too loud.

During the argument, Vincent Sasso reportedly stated he was “going to gut” the other men with whom he was arguing, and then brandished a knife.

Sasso was arrested, arraigned and released on his own recognizance with two orders of protection in place, one for each victim.
