Christopher McArthur, 23, was initially arrested on April 8 by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of criminal sexual act after investigation found he was involved with a person under the age of 17.

He was arrested again, on May 22, on charges of criminal contempt and tampering with a witness after he contacted the victim and attempted to meet with that person at an undisclosed location. He was sent to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or bond.
