Junior League of Orange County 2019 Rising Stars Award

MIDDLETOWN (May 24) – The Junior League of Orange County, NY, Inc. is currently seeking nominations for this years’ Annual Rising Stars Awards.

Recipents of this award are those who possess and execute excellent leadership skills in both their professional and volunteer lives and are chosen based on values such as achievement, experience, innovation, vision and community impact. In order to qualify for this award, nominees must live, work or volunteer in Orange County and must be between the ages of 21 and 40 on or before December 31, 2019.

“It has been a true privilege for the Junior League of Orange County (JLOC) to have bestowed this prestigious young professional award to 323 phenomenal men and women since 2006 who have and continue to make a difference in Orange County,” stated Tara Bliss, Rising Stars Co-Chair.  “We are looking for nominess that are well rounded individuals, who no matter what obstacles they may be faced with, continue to make Orange County THE greatest place to live, work, and volunteer.”

To nominate an individual whom you feel fits the above criteria, please complete and emailed the nomination form to orangecountysrisingstars@gmail.com by June 30, 2019 11:59PM. Self nominations are also encouraged. The application can be accessed on www.jlocny.org.

The Junior League of Orange County is part of an international organization of women, The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI) with more than 150,000 members in 292 communities in the US, the UK, Canada and Mexico, committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.  The Junior League of Orange County NY, Inc. reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to volunteerism.
