Most area school budgets pass, including all the city districts

MID-HUDSON – Administrators in Mid-Hudson Valley city school districts can breathe a sigh of relief as voters approved their budgets for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Voters approved the spending plans in Newburgh, Beacon, Poughkeepsie, Kingston, Middletown, and Port Jervis. The large district-wide renovation plan was also approved in the Newburgh school district. Proposition Two passed in Middletown.
