TOWN OF WALLKILL – The car fire in the parking lot of the Sherwood Forest Apartments off Goshen Turnpike in the Town of Wallkill on Sunday appears to have been accidental, State Trooper Steven Nevel said Monday.
The victim was a 31-year-old male resident of the apartment complex. No one else was injured. Police did not make the victim’s name public.
Two other cars were burned in the incident that brought out firefighters and State and Wallkill Town Police.
