Mt. Vernon man gets 23 to life for murder in 12-hour violent crime spree

WHITE PLAINS – A Mount Vernon man was sentenced by Westchester County Court Judge Barry Warhit to 23 years to life in state prison in connection with the death of Trevon Boswell and other crimes in connection with a 12-hour violent crime spree that began on May 21, 2017.
The series of violent robberies spanned several communities including Mount Vernon, New Rochelle and Yonkers as well as parts of the Bronx.
Eric Lee, 28, was sentenced as a predicate felon on a 50-count indictment charging him with murder, attempted robbery, armed robbery, and attempted murder.
Between May 21 and 22, 2017, Lee and others participated in a series of violent events including the murder of Boswell of Mount Vernon, an intended robbery victim.
