EAST FISHKILL – The $2.9 million project to reduce congestion and enhance safety at the intersection of Route 376 and Robinson Lane/Lake Walton Road in the Town of East Fishkill has been completed by the State Department of Transportation.
Improvements include additional turning lanes and a new traffic signal with left-turn phasing, and will improve traffic flow through one of the town’s busiest areas and improve access to nearby businesses and schools.
The project also included drainage enhancements, landscaping and new striping.
“Robinson Lane has long been an area of traffic congestion,” said Town Supervisor Nicholas D’Alessandro. “We are hopeful to get additional improvements in the near future.”
