KINGSTON – A former New Paltz resident has pled guilty in Ulster County Court to the violent felony of course of sexual conduct against a child.
Ulrich Arlt, 36, admitted that between August 1, 2015 and November 16, 2017, he engaged in two or more acts of sexual conduct with a child under the age of 13. He was arrested on May 17, 2018 following an investigation by the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center and was indicted on November 14.
Arlt faces up to seven years in state prison and up to 10 years of post-release supervision when sentenced. He will also be required to register as a sex offender for a minimum of 20 years.
