Over 11,000 measles shots administered in Rockland since outbreak

NEW CITY – There are 91
confirmed cases of measles in Rockland County with four suspected cases,
down from eight on Tuesday.

More than 11,000 MMR vaccinations have been given between the county Department
of health, community partners like Refuah and private physicians.

Most of the cases of the virus are in the Monsey and Spring Valley area.

Persons with symptoms are urged to stay home and avoid contact with others.
