KINGSTON – State Police have released the name of the man shot to death in the Town of Ulster shortly before noon on Saturday.
Troopers said Mark Lancaster, 39, of Kingston was killed in the roadway on Sawkill Road.
Maurice Stansberry, Sr. 38, of Kingston and two 17-year-old males are charged with two counts of murder. Stansberry was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon. All three defendants are in the Ulster County Jail without bail.
The investigation is continuing.
State Police were assisted by the Ulster County District Attorney and Sheriff’s Offices, City of Kingston and Town of Ulster Police as well as the Ulster Hose Fire Department.
