Blue Angels to headline 2019 air show, make advanced visit

Blue Angels advance team land at Stewart on Friday to make plans
for the 2019 New York Air Show

STEWART AIRPORT – The US Navy Blue Angels jet demonstration team
will make another appearance as the headliners at the 2019 New York Air
Show at New York Stewart International Airport and in preparation of that
event next August, two members met with airport officials on Friday.

The air show will be held on August 24 and 25.

Lt. Cary Rickoff and Lt. Commander Adam Kerrick, Friday flew into Stewart
in a Blue Angels F/A-18 jet.
\ Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus, who is on a training assignment
as part of his Naval Reserves service, issued a statement about the Blue
Angels’ return.

“The Blue Angels jet demonstration squadron is world renowned and
we are thrilled that they are returning to Orange County to perform,”
he said.

“The Blue Angels on the schedule will attract large crowds to this
year’s event.”

Neuhaus aid the air show “has been a tremendous success and a great
showcase of Orange County and Stewart Airport, and we’re excited
for another great show in August.”
