MIDDLETOWN – A man believed
to be homeless was found dead Tuesday afternoon as a child was walking
home from school along railroad tracks in Middletown.
The body was found in brush off Railroad Avenue and School Street.
Authorities did not immediately know the identity of the victim who was
believed to have been dead for a couple of weeks.
An autopsy was to be performed in effort to learn his identity and cause of death. Middletown Police Lt. Jeffry Thoelen said there were no signs of trauma or other indications that foul play was involved.
