KIAMESHA LAKE – Resorts World Catskills is about to open its second hotel on the campus at Kiamesha Lake.
In addition to lodging, the Alder will offer retail, entertainment and food and beverage facilities.
The 101-room hotel is named for the alder tree, part of the birch family native to the Catskills.
“Similar to our approach to the design of Resorts World Catskills, our objective for The Alder was to reflect the natural beauty of the Catskills,” said Danae Tinsley, the project manager for JCI Architecture.
