STOCKPORT – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Sunday evening shooting at a residence on Pats Lane in the Town of Stockport.
Deputies were called to the scene around 5:40 p.m. where they found a man had been shot inside the home. He was taken to Albany Medical Center by ambulance where he was undergoing surgery.
Sheriff David Bartlett said there was no danger to the public and that investigators were interviewing all parties involved.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by State Police and the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office.
