MONTICELLO – Village police arrested Rebecca Allen, 23, of Monticello, on Tuesday, November 20, charging her with seven counts of forgery, a felony and criminal possession of stolen property.
The arrested followed an investigation into use of a stolen credit card, belonging to a Delaware County man. Allen used the stolen credit to make purchases on seven occasions at businesses in Monticello during October.
She was also wanted by the Village of Liberty Police Dept. on a bench warrant for petit larceny.
Allen was sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
