MIDDLETOWN – Ten alleged street level drug dealers in Middletown have been arrested as city police teamed up with other law enforcement agencies.
Those arrested were charged with criminal sale and possession of cocaine, heroin and marijuana.
Three others were indicted on felony charges and they are expected to
be arrested in the coming days.
Arrested were Brittaney Brush, 25, of Otisville; Angel Valentin, 58, of Middletown; Derrick Green, 39, of Middletown; Felix Velez, 46, of Middletown; Jacqueline Margarum, 57, of Middletown; Jasio Sierra, 29, of Middletown; Josue Torres, 26, of Middletown; Rahmel Hilton, 38, of Middletown; Robance Koen, 44, of the Town of Wallkill; and Susan Green, 60, of Middletown. They were all sent to the Orange County Jail.
The operation resulted in the execution of several search warrants and used undercover operatives and street level surveillance. Seized in the operation were 117 grams of cocaine, 244 bags of heroin and a small amount of marijuana.
The Middletown Police Department’s Narcotics Unit conducted the investigation along with the State Police and the FBI’s Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force.
Police Chief John Ewanciw pledged Middletown Police will “relentlessly pursue those individuals responsible for supplying narcotics to our city streets.”
