Fire contained to the one apartment
TOWN OF ULSTER – Firefighters from Ulster Hose Co. #5 kept a fire in a three-apartment structure to just one residence when fire broke out on Tuesday morning.
Three cats and one dog perished in the blaze that gutted the apartment at 134 North Drive in the Town of Ulster.
The fire was held to one apartment with minor smoke and water damage to two others.
Ulster Hose was assisted at the scene by Glasco Fire Department, the City of Kingston FAST team, Ulster Police and Mobile Life Support Services.
