GREENPORT – Two local people were arrested Thursday night following an investigation by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office into drug sales in the Town of Greenport.
A search warrant executed in a residence at 156 Ten Broeck Lane, apartment 6, in Greenport resulted in the seizure of 186 bags of heroin, about 10 grams of cocaine, drug packaging material, sales and cash. The heroin had a street value of some $2,800.
Arrested were Amar Keitt, 43, and Courtney Keitt, 43, both of 156 Ten Broeck Lane. They were each charged with two counts of felony drug possession and sent to the Columbia County Jail. Amar is held without bail. Courtney’s bail was set at $60,000 cash or $100,000 bond.
