Varricchio and Salcedo discuss his plans

COLD SPRING – Entrepreneur Carlos Salcedo of Cold Spring is in
the process of developing a business incubator in his Cold Spring building.
Salcedo plans to team up with the Accelerator powered by the Orange County Industrial Development Agency to advance his plans. They will concentrate on international business.
“We are inviting companies from all over the world, not only to come and try to business with the United States, but also to set up an operation here in the U.S. and from the U.S. market, also reach out to other markets,” he said.
Salcedo is also working with the Putnam County Economic Development Corporation whose President, Jill Varricchio, anticipates attracting businesses in early 2019.
Salcedo, a Bolivian native, has been involved in international business from Cold Spring for the last four years.
The Foreign Trade Zone based at New York Stewart International Airport is another piece of the international trade puzzle on which Salcedo plans to capitalize.
