Sullivan public health director elected to statewide rural health board

LIBERTY – Sullivan County Public Health Director Nancy McGraw has been elected to the board of the New York State Association for Rural Health and as such, will play a key role in guiding the group’s policies and advocacy efforts at the state and federal levels.
The Association for Rural Health is a not-for-profit, non-partisan, grassroots organization working to preserve and improve the health of residents in rural New York State.
Current priorities of the association include enhancing access to high-quality healthcare and related services in rural communities, providing universal access to broadband telecommunications, and supporting state contracting and procurement practices that respect the unique needs of special populations and the providers that serve them.
