MONTICELLO – A Johnson City man was sentenced by Sullivan County Court Judge Frank LaBuda to nine years in state prison and three years of post-release supervision for possessing 900 bags of heroin.
Christopher Beach, 35, was arrested on February 12 after a vehicle and traffic stop on Route 42 in the Town of Thompson.
District Attorney James Farrell said Beach was on his way to Broome County
to sell the drugs when he was arrested by State Police. Beach admitted
to possessing the drug with the intent to sell it, Farrell said.
