Two charged with Port Jervis armed robbery

PORT JERVIS – Two men
have been arrested in connection with a robbery that is alleged to have
been committed on August 18 during the late evening hours on Front Street
in Port Jervis.

Darryl Minor, 18, of Middletown and Tishawn Woods, 18, of Newburgh, allegedly
forcibly stole property from a teenage boy while threatening him with
a knife.

The teens were arrested on Thursday, September 11 and charged with two
counts of armed robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.

They were arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of
$100,000 bail each pending future court action.

Port Jervis City Police were assisted by Middletown City Police and the
Hudson Valley Regional Crime Analysis Center during the investigation.
