TOWN OF THOMPSON – A $75,000
state grant has been awarded to the Town of Thompson for installation
of bathrooms at its town park.

The grant comes from the State and Municipal Facilities Program.

“Municipal parks improve the quality of life and the overall general
health of a community and they bring families, visitors and neighbors
together,” said Town Supervisor William Rieber. “Clean and
modern restrooms are necessary and well appreciated by the public.”

State Senator John Bonacic, who secured the grant, said it will “help
ensure that residents and visitors in the Town of Thompson can utilize
the town park for years to come.”
