PORT JERVIS – The City of Port Jervis will receive a $100,000 state grant for completion of downtown sidewalks on the western side of Front Street and for paving on Elks-Brox Road.
“The paving of Elks-Brox Park Road is a much needed infrastructure project that will benefit visitors and residents of the City of Port Jervis,” said Mayor Kelly Decker. “Having safe roads in which to travel will spur continued economic growth within our city.”
Port Jervis is continuing to experience downtown revitalization and the grant “will allow the city to continue the progress it has made,” said Senator John Bonacic, who secured the grant.
