YONKERS – Eight members of the 150 Clan gang in Yonkers were arrested following an eight-month investigation into several shootings and assault incidents in and around the Nodine Hill area of the city.
The investigation was conducted by city police and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.
The defendants are accused of conspiracy to commit attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon along with other crimes.
Investigators recovered two .45 caliber semi-automatic pistols, one .3280 caliber semi-automatic pistol, a military-style bulletproof vest, dozens of rounds of ammunition and several decks of heroin, along with other evidence.
“We have one of the safest cities in America because we have one of the best police departments in America and a DA’s office dedicated to public service,” said Mayor Michael Spano.
