TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE –
A Poughkeepsie man is in the Dutchess County Jail following his arrest
on a felony charge of criminal possession of stolen property.
Poughkeepsie Town Police attempted to interview James McArdelle, 32, at
a housing facility on North Hamilton Street in City of Poughkeepsie in
reference to an ongoing burglary investigation.
McArdelle, who is on parole, tried to flee the area by jumping out of
a window in the building. He was apprehended a short distance away with
the assistance of Poughkeepsie City Police and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s
Office.
