POUGHKEEPSIE – City Police in Poughkeepsie have arrested a local
man on a charge of predatory sexual assault against a child as a felony.
On August 1, Poughkeepsie Police, The Dutchess County Child Abuse Center
and the district attorney’s office began an investigation into the
assault of a nine-year-old girl.
On Friday, August 3, Octavio Santiago, 44, was arrested and charged with
allegedly assaulting the child over a two-year period.
He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
