NEW CITY – Clarkstown Police arrested a Central Nyack man for the rape of an 11-year-old girl.
The victim, a relative of the defendant, Hector Chacon-Diaz, 31, allegedly raped the child more than twice between 2015 and 2018.
Chacon-Diaz was arrested by Clarkstown Juvenile Aid Bureau detectives on Thursday, August 2 at police headquarters. He was charged with predatory sexual assault against a child and course of sexual conduct against a child, both as felonies.
Chacon-Diaz is in the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
