TOWN OF WARWICK – Officials ceremonially broke ground on Tuesday for the Citiva company’s medical marijuana facility at the Warwick Technical Park in the Town of Warwick.
Warwick Town Supervisor Michael Sweeton said the operation will provide
a significant benefit to the town, Orange County, the region and the people
for whom it will provide relief from their medical conditions.
“It’s going to be a growing, manufacturing, and distribution
center,” Sweeton said. “To the town it will be up to 250,000
square feet eventually, up to 100 jobs, tax revenues. We couldn’t
be more pleased with this acquisition and groundbreaking.”
Citiva will also develop a facility in Wappingers Falls.
The company is one of 10 licensed medical marijuana producers in the
state.
