Yonkers murder case turned over to NYPD

YONKERS – The case of a body of a man found shot to death near eastbound Tuckahoe Road and the Thruway overpass in the City of Yonkers has been turned over to the New York City Police Department for investigation.
The body of Brian Brain, 35, of Queens was discovered on July 16.
Detectives from the Major Case Squad and the Crime Scene Unit investigated and determined the incident initially occurred in Queens and that Brain’s body had been brought to Yonkers after his death.
As a result, the case was transfer to the NYPD for further investigation.
