New Rochelle Police investigate possible homicide

NEW ROCHELLE – Police
in New Rochelle are investigating the discovery of a dead woman this morning
(Friday) as a homicide.

Officers were called to 270 Main Street, the former Armory building, on
a report of a possible dead woman. They found the victim lying in the
driveway.

Based on their findings, the department said the case is being investigated
as a homicide by detectives from the General Investigations and Forensic
Units. The Westchester County District Attorney’s Office and Medical
Examiner’s Office have also been notified.

The cause of death and the victim’s identity have not yet been identified.
