Kingston man arrested for allegedly trafficking drugs from New York City to Ulster County

KINGSTON – A Kingston man, believed to travel from New York City to Ulster County to traffic drugs, was arrested on late at night on Wednesday, July 25.
Antonio Aviles, 42, had in possession 28 bags of heroin and almost 12
grams of cocaine at the time of his arrest. He was charged with several
counts of felony and misdemeanor drug possession and remanded to the Ulster
County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
The investigation was conducted by the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office following an investigation into heroin and cocaine sales in the Town of Saugerties, City of Kingston and surrounding areas.
