MAMARONECK – State Police attempted to stop a vehicle on I-95, in the town of Mamaroneck on July 4 for a vehicle and traffic violation. The driver, Roberto Robles, 20, of White Plains, failed to comply and evaded the traffic stop at a high rate of speed. After the pursuit was initiated the vehicle attempted to exit I-95 at exit 18 but lost control and struck a guiderail.
Robles was taken into custody without further incident. He was also found in possession of approximately 4 grams of Marihuana. He was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown. He refused a breath test.
Robles faces a long list of misdemeanor charges and traffic violations. He is in the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1000 bail or bond.
