TOWN OF WALLKILL – State Police arrested a Middletown man in connection with the early morning shooting of a man on April 22 in the parking lot of JD’s Sports Bar on Route 211 in the Town of Wallkill.
Elijah Underwood, 23, was charged with attempted murder, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal mischief, all felonies. He was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $200,000 cash bail or $600,000 bond.
The victim of the shooting was struck several times and transported to Orange Regional Medical Center where he was initially listed in critical condition.
